PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ishemic myocardiopathy-protecting medicine or an angina medicine having an excellent effect on the ischemic myocardiopathy protection by compounding a specific moranoline derivative as an active ingredient. ;SOLUTION: This ischemic myocardiopathy-protecting medicine contains a compound of formula (R is a 1-8C alkyl, a 9-18C aralkenyl which may be substituted; A is a 6-18C acyl) as an active ingredient. The compound of the formula includes N-propyl-6-O-hexanoylmoranoline N-(p-cyanocinnamy1)-6-O- hexanoylmoranoline, N-[3-bis(o-chlorophenyl)-2-propenyl]-6-O-octanoylmoranoline. The compound of the formula is preferably contained as such or in a carrier in an amount of 0.01-99.5%, and is administered at a daily dose of 0.1-10 g for an adult as the active ingredient.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
