PREPARATION CONTAINING RORIPA NASTURTIUM-AQUATICUM EXTRACT AND USED FOR EXTERNAL USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preparation for external use, excellent in a moisture- retaining effect, and further capable of reducing an unpleasant irritative touch and giving a comfortable touch, when compounded with a thermesthesia- stimulating agent by formulating the solvent extract of a specific edible vegetable as an active ingredient. ;SOLUTION: This preparation for external use is obtained by formulating an extract obtained by extracting the leaves and stems or the whole plant of Roripa nasturtium-aquaticum in a dry or natural state with a solvent such as water, methanol or polyethylene glycol. The solvent extract of the Roripa nasturtium-aquaticum is compounded in an amount of 0.1-30 wt.% in the preparation, when used as the extract of the Roripa nasturtium-aquaticum. The preparation for the external use is further preferably compounded with a thermesthesia- stimulating agent such as Guinea pepper powder or Guinea pepper extract in an amount of 0.001-5 wt.%.
