PURPOSE:To obtain the title essence having improved hemostatic action of lotus root, by uniformly dispersing fine pieces of lotus root diluted refined SAKE (rice wine) to prepare a slurry lotus root in diluted refined SAKE, boiling down the prepared extracted solution of lotus root essence to precipitate a solid content and slurrying the solid content. CONSTITUTION:Fine pieces of lotus root uniformly dispersed into diluted SAKE prepared by diluting 1 volume refined SAKE with 20 volumes water to give a slurry of lotus root in diluted refined SAKE and essence of Lotus root is extracted. Then the extracted solution filtered, concentrated by boiling down, a solid content is precipitated and slurried to give the objective essence. The essence is added to wheat flour, which is made into raw noodles to give raw noodles containing essence of lotus root.
