PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make both of a master network and a slave network possible to effectively execute a network function based on a TCP/IP protocol. SOLUTION: When a facsimile(FAX) to be printed out is received from a TCP/IP communication network(NET) to a network equipment 1A such as a FAX equipment, the equipment 1A informs a personal computer(PC) 2A on a LAN to which the equipment 1A itself is connected of the incoming of the FAX and the PC 2A requests data to the equipment 1A in response to the information and displays the image of the received FAX on a display 21.
