PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the machining position of a tool in an appropriate position by shifting the machining position of the tool by a compensation value of a tool diameter set in a numerical controller under the conditions that the using frequency of the tool set in database and the counted number of a counter are coincided with each other. ;SOLUTION: Database of the using frequency of a tool and a tool diameter compensation value matching to each using frequency are set beforehand in a machining condition table of a set part 11. The using frequency set therein and the counted value of a tool counter 12 are compared and calculated in a calculating part 13 in the NC. If the counted value of the counter 12 is coincided with the set value of the using frequency, it is automatically changed into the compensation value of the tool diameter set according to the using frequency of the tool based on the data of a tool trajectory calculating part 15 for deciding the machining position of the tool in a tool diameter compensation calculating part 15 in the NC.
