PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box-making and liquid-filling machine having a combination of an erection mechanism and a reversely folding mechanism simple in structure, which is capable of folding reversely a quadratic prismatic body by allowing it to abut correctly against proper positions of a guide plate and an arm plate, and which is further applicable to the making of quadratic prismatic carton boxes having plural kinds of sizes and to liquid-filling processing. ;SOLUTION: A first holding means 41 and a second holding means 42 are provided which respectively hold two acute-angled corner parts 1a, 1b only of a flatly folded quadratic prismatic body 1, both of which leave each other in the direction of a quadratic prismatic diagonal, and which effect approaching and leaving operations mutually in the direction of the diagonal. The flat body 1 is reversely folded by relatively approaching operations of these first and second holding means, and the body 1 thus formed is also erected by their leaving operations.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
