POLYESTER-BASED COMPOUND HAVING PYRAZINE RING IN MAIN CHAIN, ITS PRODUCTION AND POLYMERIC COLORING MATTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject new compound improved in light fastness and utilizable as a polymeric coloring matter such as a fluorescent pigment. ;SOLUTION: This new compound is represented by formula I [R¹ to R⁴ are each H, a 1-18C alkyl, a 1-18C alkenyl or the like; X is Br or I; (n) is an integer of 1-22; (m) is an integer of 2-10], e.g. a compound represented by formula II. The compound represented by formula I is obtained by carrying out the condensation of a pyrazinecarboxylic acid represented by formula II with an alkyl dihalide represented by formula III. Thereby, the objective polymeric coloring matter improved in lightfastness from that of a conventional one can be obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
