PURPOSE:To make it possible to drive with extremely low noise and low vibration by constructing a deceleration device out of only a toothed pulley and a toothed belt. CONSTITUTION:When a rotational shaft 5 of an electric motor starts to rotate, the rotation is transmitted to an input pulley 6 that is fixed on the shaft 5, and the pulley 6 is rotated at the same rotational speed with the shaft 5. The rotation of the pulley 6 is then transmitted to a first toothed pulley 11 through a first toothed belt 15, and a second toothed pulley 12 that is solidly provided with the pulley 11 is rotated at the same lowered rotational speed with the pulley 11. The rotation of the pulley 12 is further transmitted to an output pulley 16 through a second toothed belt 21, and an output shaft 17 to which the pulley 16 is fixed is rotated. As the rotation is transmitted only by the toothed pulley and the toothed belt, engagement of toothed gears does not occur at all, and driving with extremely low noise and low vibration can thus be achieved.
