PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive prime motor with a reduction gear in which the output shaft of a motor can be coupled easily with the input shaft of a roller reduction gear with relatively high concentricity while exhibiting a high power transmission capacity by employing the output shaft of motor and the input shaft of the reduction gear independently. ;CONSTITUTION: A groove 15, comprising a straight groove extending radially, is made at the end of the output shaft of a motor 1 and a protrusion 16 having substantially an oval cross-section, being fitted in the recess 15, is provided at the end of a sun shaft 7 serving as the input shaft to a reduction gear 3. The output shaft 6 of the motor 1 is then abutted against the sun shaft 7 of the reduction gear 3 thus fitting the protrusion 16 in the recess 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
