PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for rot-resistant treatment of lumber and a lumber treated by the method which is safe for a living body, and improves the structural strength of the lumber while securing the rot resistance. ;SOLUTION: A rot-resistant treatment method for a lumber is constituted of an organic acid preservative treatment 1 for removing saccharide, starch, amino acid, protein and the like in the woody section by organic acid and a mineral diffusion treatment 2 for filling and precipitating mineral fine particles in the woody section composed mainly of remaining lignin.
