PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot air dryer unit for thermally drying an object efficiently through a dryer using high temperature negative pressure exhaust gas generated from a combustion furnace without requiring any expensive and intricate indirect heat exchanger. ;SOLUTION: High temperature negative pressure exhaust gas generated from a combustion furnace 11 is supplied, as positive pressure hot air, from a gas ejector 17 to a dryer 12 in order to thermally dry up an object C. Exhaust gas from the dryer 12 is supplied as the working gas for the gas ejector 17 and a part thereof is supplied to the combustion furnace 11. In a solidified waste fuel production system equipped with a hot air dryer unit for thermally drying the object C as a waste, peripheral units of the production system are driven directly by a fluid subjected to heat exchange with a part of exhaust gas generated from the combustion furnace 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
