PURPOSE:To improve transfer from initial combustion into standard combustion. CONSTITUTION:A table, in which the amount of fuel supplied to a burning device 4 at the initial period of drying is divided into a plurality of stages, is set and the supplying amount of fuel is selected from the set table based on the operated position of a charging amount setting device 6, in which the charging amount of grains is set, and an atmospheric temperature, detected by an atmospheric temperature sensor 5, to effect initial burning for a predetermined period of time and, thereafter, the combustion is transferred into standard combustion. The combustion at the initial period of drying is divided into a plurality of stages whereby a difference between an initial combustion temperature and a standard combustion temperature is reduced and the transfer of combustion is improved.
