PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting an oil level inside an oil sump of a compressor which has a simple structure, is not affected by sludge etc. generated in lubricating oil and has high reliability with respect to vibration, an oil supply control method to the compressor, a gas compressor equipped with these methods, and an air conditioner equipped with the gas compressor.;SOLUTION: In the gas compressor P, oil mixed in compressed air discharged from the compressor 1 is separated by an oil separator 10 and is stored inside the oil sump 3, and oil inside the oil sump 3 is supplied to the compressor 1.
