PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a malfunction by looseness of a yarn end of a yarn winding bobbin of roving by superposing at least yarn end of a winding finish part of a three-round quantity on roving of a lower layer without performing a traverse in the yarn winding bobbin where roving of short fiber is wound round and installed on a paper tube. ;SOLUTION: A yarn winding bobbin 10 winds roving 12 in the same position without performing a traverse on at least a three-round quantity at winding finish time, and is formed so as to have a bar winding part 14 being a part where roving 12 of an outer peripheral part overlaps each other. The yarn winding bobbin 10 is pressed down by roving 12 of the last round in a condition where rovings 12 of a third round and a second round from the last overlap each other since a three-round quantity is wound in an overlapping condition, and mutual short fibers of a second round and a third round are put in a condition where frictional resistance is large. Still in such a condition where frictional resistance is large, a central shaft of a paper tube 11 is put in a vertical condition, and the yarn winding bobbin 10 is suspendedand held by a carrying hanger, and is carried to the next process. In this case, since frictional resistance of mutual rovings 12 of short fibers is large, yarn end 13 does not loosen out.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
