PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a stain foundation product for covering human skin defects by custom building. SOLUTION: A process contains measuring a normal skin of a customer by spectrophotometry, and obtaining color values of the normal skin, lightness, redness and yellowness to be represented by L unit, (a) unit and (b) unit respectively. After that, these color values of the normal skin are converted by computation into corrected values to be determined by a set program for correcting L, (a) and (b) values. The next process is to make up a prescription for a facial foundation having a color according to the corrected values, on the basis of the corrected values. Adjustment for the redness and yellowness is made by a set of schedules to be determined by a ratio of b/a.
