NOISE SUPPRESSOR FOR GENERAL-PURPOSE INVERTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide with a simple structure a noise suppressor for general-purpose inverter which is capable of significantly reducing radiation noise from an output cable. ;SOLUTION: An induction motor 5 is variably-driven by the output of a general-purpose inverter 3. A transformer 6 of delta-star connection is formed on the output side of the general-purpose inverter 3, and to its output end the induction motor 5 is connected via a power cable 4. In the transformer 6 of delta-star connection, its secondary neutral point is grounded separately from the grounding of the inverter 3. As a result, anti-ground noise runs between the primary side (inverter 3 side) of the transformer 6, the inverter 3, and grounding of a power source to have no connection with the anti-ground capacity of the power cable 4 connected to the induction motor 5. It is thus possible to significantly reduce radiation noise from the power cable.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
