PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which forms a Zn layer containing a moderate amount of Zn on the brazing part, and prevents the corrosion progress in the depth direction, and obtains an excellent corrosion resistance by using a hyper eutectic aluminum alloy containing Zn. ;SOLUTION: The brazing filler metal consists of one or more kinds of powders, the constitutional components of which are more than one kind among Al, Si and Zn. The powder component has the Al-Si-Zn base hyper eutectic composition in the total volume. The aluminum alloy powder brazing filler metal contains 15 plus-60 wt.% Si, and 5-30 wt.% Zn in the total volume. The powder consists of more than one kind of powders chosen from the group; the Al-Si alloy, the Al-Si-Zn alloy, the Al-Zn alloy, Si or the Si alloy, Zn or the Zn alloy. The powder brazing filler metal has to contain a given amount of Si in the total volume to become the hyper eutectic. The excess Si contained causes the diffused inflow of Si towards the brazing member to lower the melting point of the brazing member and melt the one part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
