PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a seal furnace for cathode-ray tubes capable of preventing frit adhering to a panel surface by removing frit powder floating in the furnace by a comparatively simple method. ;SOLUTION: A panel funnel fracture detection device 15 detects a fracture of a panel 1 or a funnel 2 in a temperature raising part 11. After that, when a conveyance forecasting device 16 detects that a succeeding panel 1 and funnel 2 will not arrive by a conveying belt 14 for a period longer than a fixed period including stop time of the conveying belt 14, a temperature raising part of temperature forcibly raising device 17 forcibly raises the temperature of the temperature raising part 11 to a crystallization temperature in a fixed period.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
