PURPOSE:To obtain a waterproof seal material for use in connecting a tube body to a tube fitting hole of an underground structure, which is excellent in water cut-off effect and operating efficiency and is kept from being shifted and dislocated by filling of mortar or the like and to obtain a connecting structure and method of a tube body to an underground structure. CONSTITUTION:A waterproof seal material 1 is constructed so that projections 4 projected inward are formed on both side edge portions of a seal member 1 having a substantially hook-shaped section, which is made by water expansible material or a compound of a water expansible material and a non-water expansible material. Pressure sensitive adhesives 3 measured in such a manner that the projections 4 directly come into contact with a structure are provided on flat portions 5 inside the projections 4.
