When there is no response from the hand set for a fixed time, an automatic recording part 14 is operated and the recording of voice data from the call originating side is started. When the recording is completed, the connection with the telephone line 10 is performed again, the public line number of the hand set 2 is read out of a hand set public line number storage part 16 and a call is originated to this public line number.
