PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reset a base station equipment without using a special communication channel and without stopping video information feeding when normal communication between a master set and the base station equipment is out of order in a personal handy phone system employing a CATV network. SOLUTION: In the case that communication between a master set 101 and base station equipments 104, 105 is hindered due to noise or other causes on a coaxial line 100 and system-locked to standby, a modulation signal to be sent from a master transmitter 112 is stopped by a stop of a power supply signal to be sent synchronously with the modulation signal from the master set 101. The stop of the modulation signal resets the base station equipments 104, 105 to restore the system to the initial state.
