PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve having a check valve built therein so as to reduce generation of chattering and cavitation, and a mold clamping device using the valve. ;SOLUTION: A valve 15 having a check valve built therein has an outer tube 16, on which through holes 16a and 16b respectively communicating with a first and a second oil passages 21 and 22 are provided, a piston 17, which fits in the outer tube 16 and, by being energized towards a basic end side, which communicates with the first oil passage 21 and, by being shifted to a top side, which closes the first oil passage 21 and which communicates with the second oil passage 22 through a through hole 17a or the basic end side, and a check valve 19, which closes the second oil passage 22 by being energized towards the basic end side and by being shifted to the tip side by means of a pressure oil running in the second oil passage 22, which communicates with the second oil passage 22. In addition, a mold clamping device provides the valve 15 having the check valve built therein in a portion, through which the pressure oil circulates.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
