PURPOSE:To strongly and integrally form a contact strip surface low in slide resistance on the guide edge material of window glass. CONSTITUTION:An insertion recessed part 2 in which the end edge of window glass is inserted and pressure holding tongue pieces 3, 4 opposed to an inlet are formed to a guide edge material 1. A contact strip surface 10 formed from a compsn. prepared by mixing a powder or particle composed of mica, molybdenum or graphite with a synthetic resin 7 such as nylon, urethane, a polyolefinic resin or a styrenic resin low in friction is subjected to extrusion molding simultaneously with the guide edge material 1 to be applied to the pressure holding tongue pieces 3, 4 and the insertion recessed part 2 with which the end edge of window glass comes into contact under pressure at the time of closure to integrally form rough surface parts 9, 9 such as uneven parts generated by a melting degree on the surface of the contact strip surface 10. By mixing large and small particles composed of materials different in m.p. with the synthetic resin, the rough surface parts 9, 9 are formed on the surface of the contact strip surface 10 by extrusion molding.
