PURPOSE:To attain the automatic working for a chamfering treatment at an optional angle with use of a simple part program by providing a means to recognize the contour shape terminating block added to a part program and a means to control the chamfering based on the recognized contour shape terminating block. CONSTITUTION:It is decided whether the optional angle chamfering execution block received at a contour shape terminating block recognizing part 9 from a program analyzing part 2 is equal to a contour shape terminating block or not. If so, the optional angle chamfering execution block is sent to a contour shape terminating part's optional angle chamfering control part 3'. Thus the optional angle chamfering control is carried out at a contour shape terminating part. That is, the blocks are not sequentially read and the virtual moving direction commands which are simultaneously produced in the contour shape terminating block are sequentially and virtually processed as the working directions of the blocks when the contour shape terminating block is recognized. As a result, chamfering work of the contour shape terminating part is automatically executed.
