PURPOSE: To provide an oil removing device in which the oil on both surfaces of tempura can be removed without disturbing the neat arrangement. ;CONSTITUTION: A first conveyor 1 and a second conveyor 2 for carrying oil-fried tempera T are arranged in series, a lower oil removing driving roller 4 having oil removing cloth 22 installed to the outer circumferential surface is interposed between both the conveyors 1, 2 in substantially the same level as both the conveyors 1, 2, a third conveyor 3 for pressing tempura is arranged on the lower oil removing driving roller 4, and an upper oil removing driving roller 5 similar to the lower oil removing driving roller 4 is provided on the first conveyor 1 or the second conveyor 2. Thus, when the tempura T passes just under the upper oil removing driving roller 5, the oil removing cloth 22 makes contact with the upper surface of the tempura T, and when the tempura T passes on the lower oil removing driving roller 4, the oil removing cloth 22 makes contact with the lower surface of the tempura T.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
