PURPOSE: To prevent the excessive adhesion of the metallic foil on the outer circumferential part of a core attributable the expansion and contraction of the core and the outer side metallic foil and wrinkles and partial breakage attributable thereto in the annealing where the coiled article of the hard metallic foil is softened. ;CONSTITUTION: The embossment where the roughness is #30-#70, the depth is 0.3-0.8μm, and the pitch is 0.2-1.0mm is executed on the metallic foil of 8-35μm of thickness to make the embossed metallic foil for cushioning with appropriately irregular surface. An appropriate cushioning layer is formed outside a core by coiling the embossed metallic foil several time around the core. The cushioning layer formed by coiling the metallic foil several times around the core releases the compression of the metallic foil close to the core which is caused in the annealing heat treatment of the coiled article of the metallic foil, and the generation of defective parts is reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
