PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate for molding which has high surface hardness and can be used after polishing the surface. ;SOLUTION: A prepreg 1 is stacked, at a specified interval, on a long-size metallic foil 2 and the metallic foil 2 is replicated between the prepregs 1, and further, a plate A for molding is sandwiched between the replicated opposite metallic foils 2. In addition, a stacked block 4 comprising the metallic foils 2, the prepregs 1 and the plate A for molding is heated by energizing the metallic foils 2 while pressing the laminated block 4 to obtain the laminate with an applied metallic foil 2. In this plate A for molding the laminate with an applied metallic foil 2, an insulating layer 11 is sandwiched between stainless steel plates 10, and the stainless steel plate 10 which forms one of the surfaces of the plate A is electrically insulated against the stainless steel plate 10 which forms the other surface using the insulating layer 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
