PURPOSE:To detect an intake air quantity in an intake pipe in an aircraft engine so accurately according to the opening or closing of a bypass door. CONSTITUTION:In an aircraft engine, connecting an air filter 11 to an air inlet end 10a of an intake pipe 10, installing an air flow sensor, detecting an intake air quantity, at the upstream side of a throttle valve 14 in the intake pipe 10 and also installing a bypass door 12 in an air intake at the downstream side of the air filter 11 provided with an intake pressure sensor 23, outputting a signal corresponding to intake negative pressure or the like, at the downstream side of the throttle valve 14, a door sensor 24 outputs a door close signal at a time when the bypass door 12 is closed, and receiving this door close signal, a central processing unit calculates the intake air quantity on the basis of an output signal of the air flow sensor 22. In addition, also receiving a door open signal, the central processing unit calculates the intake air quantity on the basis of each output signal of the intake pressure sensor 23 and an engine speed sensor 21.
