PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a contour line graph at a high speed even in a personal computer or the like relating to a contour line plotting method for plotting the contour line graph for indicating the entire tendency of a controlled variable decided by two data at a high speed. ;SOLUTION: For data constitution for which third data are made to respectively correspond to plural coordinate points stipulated by first data and second data and discretely distributed, at the time of plotting a contour line relating to the third data, the data constitution is divided into plural squares stipulated by the four adjacent coordinate points among the plural coordinate points. Then, for the respective squares, by interpolating the two adjacent coordinate points among the four coordinate points for constituting the square, a processing for plotting a contour line part relating to the third data is repeatedly performed and the contour line relating to the third data is plotted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
