PURPOSE: To transfer sewing patterns like patch works with sewing threads to a required position, by providing a thread cutter which instructs a block thread-cutting motion automatically cutting the threads when the block sewing has completed, regarding a thread-cutting command in the block-sewing data on sewing as an effective one. ;CONSTITUTION: A block thread-cutting setter 14 holds a thread-cutting signal output by the manipulation of a thread-cutting key operation 10 during operation as a block thread-cutting instruction and a thread-cutting mode setter 8 cuts the threads, regarding the block thread-cutting instruction during sewing operation as an effective instruction, in the thread-cutting mode. A solenoid 13b drive instruction is output through a solenoid driver 13a against the thread cutting drive means 13a, 13b after the upper shaft phase is adjusted by an upper shaft phase adjustment data.
