PURPOSE:To obtain the W wire having excellent vibration resistance in the case of lightening at a high temp. by regulatively forming bubbles of specified shapes into grain boundaries and crystal grains at the time of heating a W wire having specified diameter by specified conducting. CONSTITUTION:The doped W wire obtd. by using a dopant such as K, Si and Al is formed into 0.39mm diameter, current corresponding to 90% of fusing current is conducted for 5min to the wire rod and heating treatment is executed. In the structure of the wire rod formed by this treatment, bubbles of =0.3mum diameter are regulatively dispersed in =3mum length along the longitudinal direction and bubbles of =0.2mum diameter are dispersedly formed at random in the grain boundaries and bubbles of =0.3mum diameter are regulatively dispersed in =30mum length along the longitudinal direction and bubbles of =0.2mum diameter are dispersedly formed at random in the crystal grains. The proportion of the length and width of secondary recrystallized grains is always preferably regulated to =9. The above vibration-resistant W wire can be obtd. by regulating the reducing temp. at the time of manufacturing and the wire diameter at the time of executing recrystallization treatment.
