PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both an apparatus for producing dried laver sheets capable of surely peeling off the dried laver sheets from laver drying screens and a method for peeling off the dried laver sheets in the apparatus for producing the dried laver sheets. ;SOLUTION: This apparatus for producing a dried laver sheet is capable of stopping each laver drying screen 4 held by a holder 3 on a suction belt 21, bringing sliding rollers 34 and the first press roller 40 into contact with the upper part of lateral ends on the upstream side of the laver drying screen 4, sliding the sliding rollers 34 on the laver drying screen 4, thereby stretching the laver drying screen 4, peeling off the resultant dried laver sheet 5 spread on the undersurface of the laver drying screen 4 therefrom, bringing the second press roller 43 into contact with the upper part on the lateral ends on the downstream side of the laver drying screen 4, sliding the siding rollers 34 in the opposite directions, completely peeling off the dried laver sheet 5, sucking the dried laver sheet 5 with the suction belt 21 while detouring the laver drying screen 4 along a detour roller 54, feeding the laver drying screen 4 forward, rotating the suction belt 21 and delivering the dried later sheet 5 to a takeout conveyor 66 while separating the dried laver sheet 5 from the laver drying screen 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
