PURPOSE:To eliminate necessity for executing complicated operation each time and period for the settlement of account is switched by inputting the sectioning day of one month in advance, storing, holding the accumulated work time data of the previous period for the settlement of account in a storage part when one month is ended and resetting an accumulating means. CONSTITUTION:When the section day of one month is inputted to a storage circuit part (RAM) 5 in advance, the accumulated work time data of the previous period for the settlement of account to be set to the accumulating means are stored and held in the storage part 5 by a CPU 1 when one month is ended. Then, the accumulating means is reset and prepared for counting the accumulated work time of the new period for the settlement of account. Thus, it is not necessary to read the accumulated work time data of the previous period for the settlement of account by the user of a device and to execute work for clearing the data afterwards each time the period for the settlement of account is switched.
