PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perfectly charge a scheduled amt. of a ceramic raw material in a cylindrical body part by disposing a second raw material charging port to the cylindrical body part in series to a raw material charging port to disperse the mount of the ceramic raw material under the raw material charing port into two mounts. ;SOLUTION: In this ball mill constituted by providing a raw material charging port for supplying a ceramic raw material to the peripheral surface of a cylindrical body part, an existing raw material charging port 5a is displaced toward one end part of the cylindrical body part 3 and a second raw material charging port 5b is disposed to the position near to the other end part thereof on the same axial line as the raw material charging port 5a.
