PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily correct frog kicks in the breaststroke by attaching a freely removable bonding piece to each end of a wide elastic band, and mounting the band on the upper calf via the bonding pieces. ;SOLUTION: A wide elastic board 1 is provided with a hole 3 for passing an elastic cord 4, and the periphery of the hole 3 is reinforced with yarn. A connecting cord 6 is passed through a hole in the center of a finger grip 7 and is bound into place at each end. The elastic cord 4 is passed through a length-adjustment ring 5, the hole 3 in the wide elastic band 3, the connecting cord 6, and the hole 3 in the wide elastic band in that order and returned to the length adjustment ring 5. The elastic cord 4 is adjusted using the length adjustment ring 5. The cord 4 is first passed through the length adjustment rings 5 at two corners and then through the inside of the first length adjustment ring 5 from the outside of the second length adjustment ring 5. Thus the user is less likely to feel pain caused by stretching the elastic cord. Also, the band can be easily attached and removed to match the size of the upper calf and the length of the below-knee part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
