Method for producing Pr123 crystal

PURPOSE:To produce a large oxide crystal having the structure of a Pr-contg. 123 crystal. CONSTITUTION:In a process for growing a Pr-contg. 123 oxide crystal, two or more kinds of oxides are selected from among Pr oxide, Ba oxide, Cu oxide, PrBa oxide, PrCu oxide, BaCu oxide and PrBaCu oxide so as to satisfy 1:(2.1-8.0):(3.2-17.0) ratio of Pr:Ba:Cu and they are mixed and heated. The objective crystal is grown from the resulting liq. phase contg. a solid phase.
