Small particle size P-type zeolite having a D50 of less than 0.8 mu m, preferably less than 0.6 mu m, and a D90 of less than 2.5 mu m, preferably less than 2.0 mu m, more preferably less than 1.5 mu m can be obtained by milling with no detrimental effect on its detergents capacity.
