A kit (1) for the parenteral injection of fluids, by the user, contains at least one cannula (2), an appliance (3) to deliver a dosed volume of fluid and at least one container (8) filled with a pharmaceutical preparation. The container is placed within the applicator to be delivered in separate measured doses of the pharmaceutical fluid. Also claimed is an applicator which takes an inserted container filled with the preparation. The container is connected to the outlet through an intermediate storage zone which initially takes the measured dose volume from the container, for onwards movement to the outlet. The dimensions of the intermediate store match the volume of the separate dose. Also claimed is a refill kit.
