MIXTURE OF RECOMBINANT VECTORS OF THE VIRUS OF COWS OXY AS POLYBROOTED VIRAL VACCINES AGAINST THE VIRUS OF THE HUMAN IMMUNE DEFICIT

Polyobaste virus vaccines are presented that contain mixtures of at least 4 to about 10,000 different recombinant viruses, each of which expresses a different variant of the shell of the human immune deficiency virus (HIV) or a part of it that contains both permanent and variable regions as well the production and use of such polytheal viral vaccines and viruses, including the use of live, attenuated or inactivated polytheal viral vaccine for the prevention and treatment of HIV infection. Optimally, the viral vaccines of the present invention are combined with a recombinant activator of the HIV envelope or with a vaccine for primary immunization or reimmunization containing the recombinant DNA of the HIV env gene.
