FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of asthma, which, as an active ingredient, is a) an antibody capable of binding to ICAM-1; b) an antibody fragment according to the preceding panel a) capable of binding ICAM-1; (c) ICAM-1 substantially free of natural impurities; d) a flavoring derivative of ICAM-1; e) an antibody capable of binding to a member of the CD18 family of glycoproteins; f) a fragment of the antibody of the preceding paragraph e), which fragment is capable of binding to a member of the CD18 family of glycoproteins; (g) a member of the glycoprotein CD18 family which is substantially free of natural contamination; and or h) a herbicidal derivative of a member of the CD18 family of glycoproteins is pharmaceutically admixed with boiling bath agents and formulated for administration in a dosage form. ŕ
