The builder first attaches U-shaped profiles (2, 5) to the floor and ceiling. Plasterboard panels (8) are then attached (9) to the legs (4, 6) of the profiles on both sides, after inserting horizontal folded cardboard strips (10) across the gap at intervals. Liquefied plaster (12) is then injected into the cavity via filling holes (11) in the panels. The set plaster and panels form a strong, sound absorbent wall.
