PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor capable of enhancing the degree of freedom of a design, reducing torsional vibration in a driving system by a simple constitution and suppressing a sudden interruption of the transmission of driving force from an external driving source to a drive shaft without increasing a solenoid scale. ;SOLUTION: A friction body 56 is fixed to a rear end 28b of a drive shaft 28 of a compressor and a disk-shaped mass body 57 is fitted into the outer peripheral surface of the rear end 28b. A coil spring 58 is wound on the rear end 28b, the one end is locked on the drive shaft 28, the other end is locked on the mass body 57 for damping and the mass body 57 for damping is pressed on the friction body 56 by a spring 58. The mass body 57 is arranged within a suction chamber 46 of a rear housing 26. The mass body 57 for damping is fitted and supported into/on the drive shaft 28 so that the mass body 57 may relatively rotate but be impossible to tilt.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
