NEURONIC CELLULAR AUTOMATON AND OPTIMIZER EMPLOYING THE SAME

A cellular automaton part is provided with cellularautomata each including a plurality of cells. Each cellis provided with a growth period state deriving circuitfor growing a cell column and a stable period statederiving circuit for stabilizing the cell column. Aninput/output part carries out input/output in/from thecellular automata in relation to a target problem, andoutputs the same also to an evaluation part. Theevaluation part operates the degrees of application of thecellular automata with respect to the target problem, sothat an evaluation reflecting part decides next initialstates of the cellular automata and operations of thegrowth period and stable period state deriving circuits onthe basis of evaluation values of the evaluation part.
