"In a clip for hanging outdoor Christmas lights on an eavestrough, it is known to be ofplastic substance that clips onto the eavestrough whereby either the electrical line hangs inthe clip, or the socket fits into the orifice of the clip where the bulb is attached to thesocket on the underside of the orifice of the clip. In this invention, the clip is made of wirethat clips onto the eavestrough, fencing, or any horizontal structure not exceeding 3/4 inchthickness, whereby the socket fits into the orifice of the clip and the bulb attaches to thesocket on the underside of the orifice of the clip."
