The invention relates to a method and apparatus for combat trainingin armoured land vehicles by means of a simulator, wherein the operableland vehicle itself is the simulator compartment and wherein for trainingpurposes a mobile simulation computer is connected to the central computerof the land vehicle so that the display screen thereof displays thesimulation and functional data and the simulated external view for trainingpurposes. All items of operating equipment can be operated, but in that"training" operating mode the real operating and movement functions of thevehicle are blocked.
