The invention concerns a Coriolus versicolor fungus strain registered with the CNCM under reference number I-1657, or one of its derivatives, capable of degrading polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) comprising at least five cycles, and its use for treating materials contaminated by resistant polluting compounds.
