New strain of a mushroom coriolus versicolor useful for the treatment of materials polluted

The fingal strain Coriolus versicolor, CNCM I-1657, and its derivatives, that are able to degrade polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) containing at least 5 rings, including all those with 5 or 6 rings. An Independent claim is also included for use of the new strain to degrade recalcitrant pollutants (A) in contaminated materials.
