The cleaning solution contains softened water (98.5%), sodium hydroxide (1%) and sulfonated castor oil (0.5%). Fresh solution is prepared (a), used in a cleaning vessel (b), treated with a copolymer (c), then settled (d), and the sludge filtered (e). The liquid from the settler and the filter may be ultra filtered (g) and its composition adjusted (h) before reuse (f). An Independent claim is also included for an equipment which carries out the process.
