SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR TRAVEL EXPENSE ACCOUNT

A schedule management system which utilizes a computer and facilitates extraction of unsettled travel expenses and the settlement of them using a travel expense settlement function. A schedule information record in which schedule information is stored and a travel expense settlement record in which the settlement history of travel expenses is stored are collated with each other. A business trip schedule is decided and extracted in accordance with the combination conditions of the locations in the schedule information record and the registered statuses of schedules. The dates of the extracted schedule in the schedule information record and the business trip dates in the travel expense information record are checked up with each other and the schedule whose dates do not agree with the dates in the travel expense information record is judged to be the schedule of the business trip whose expense is not settled and extracted. The message to the effect that the travel expense of this extracted business trip is not settled is displayed and the user is asked about whether the expense is to be settled or not. When the user answers it, in accordance with the answer, the system performs the travel expense settlement function and the expense can be settled.
