METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING PROPRIETARY DATA OF TRAITORS

The aim of the invention is to develop a method for identifying proprietary data of traitors which enables a doubtless identification of at least one traitor, meaning an authorized subscriber (U), who has disclosed one of his partial keys to a third person without authorization. According to the invention, the assignment of the closing keys to an authorized subscriber (U) results according to geometric structures and methods of finite geometry such that the necessary characteristic of the k-resilience used for identifying a traitor (U) is guaranteed. The doubtless ide ntification of at least one traitor (U) results by means of a traitor search algorithm. The inventive method is both suited for identifying an individual traitor (U) as well as for identifying coalitions of k-traitors (U).
